MultiCultural Homoseksual, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Pressure Group

Stichting RainBowColours-NL is oriented towards homosexual, lesbian, bisexual and
transgender belonging to ethnic minorities or arriving in The Netherlands as refugees.

Our aim is to promote the social well-being and emancipation of these groups,
in order to help them better their position both in the personal sphere and
within the culture to which that person belongs.

Stichting RainBowColours-NL

- provides information and advice. ( also digitally )

- undertakes social action. ( also digitally )

- organizes activities in the field of culture, recreation and sports.
( in the region South – East of The Netherlands )

“Punt 1990”: Intercultural Center of Knowledge for Sexual Diversity

The Center for documentation and information “Punt 1990” aims to facilitate autochthones,
Western and non-Western allochthones, as well as social organizations, in Eindhoven (NL)
that are looking for information about cultures, especially information about the position
of LGBT people within those cultures.

“Punt 1990” is a collaboration between ‘het Vredesburo’ (Bureau for Peace) and
“Stichting RainBowColours-NL” (an organization that has the interests of LGBT people at heart)

The mission of “Punt 1990” is to act as a beacon, for social organizations, autochthones,
western and non-western allochthones residing in Eindhoven (NL), where they can use the
documentation and knowledge present about cultures / religions ; general information,
and especially information about the position of LGBT people in cultures and religions.

Documentation is present in the form of general information on nations , social relations within
cultures, and social well-being of LGBT people.
By facilitating this information, “Punt 1990” aims to increase the knowledge of social organizations,
and people living in and near Eindhoven (NL) about cultural and sexual diversity, and also about
the Dutch immigration policy concerning homosexuality.
